Small lochside, historic village. Old church, the Glebe, woodland and old church offer good photography. Landscapers will enjoy distant Ben Lomond and Conic Hill scenery.

Parkland area with historic building and stunning gardens. Riverside walks with nature opportunities. It is also the home to Scotland's Covid Memorial.

Knapps Loch
Kilmacolm
Picturesque lochside with wildlife, landscape and Macro opportunities. Contains a good circular path around the loch which takes about 45 minutes to undertake at a steady pace.

Main Car Park. There are 2 car parking spots near to Knapps Loch itself on the A761. The one nearest the loch is smaller and only has space for a few vehicles. The other car park further back has more spaces available and this is the suggested meeting point. 18.30
14th August
The Skelpies and The Timber Ponds
Sculptures honouring the shipyard workers. Newark Castle, Perch Low Lighthouse, Clune Park (Scotland's Chernobyl") and the Timber Ponds are all nearby also so this evening includes several points of interest.
